Operation Grillfest

Assignment:

The Shops at Park Lane reached out to D for assistance in creating awareness about the launch of their new park among affluent Dallasites who have an affinity for shopping and dining out.

Strategy:

Inspired by the success of an event in another city called Grillfest, we decided that this would be the perfect occasion at which to expose our readers to the park’s many features.

Activation:

On Saturday, May 2, nine of Dallas’ top chefs gathered for D Magazine’s inaugural Grillfest event. Attendees sampled meats from 44 Farms, sipped beer from Alaskan Brewing Co, and enjoyed the musical sounds of Dean Fearing’s band, Sunset Palace. All ticket proceeds benefitted the North Texas Food Bank. Image gallery can be viewed here.
