Marketing Manager, Advertising

The D Media Marketing team seeks an experienced individual to help manage marketing programs driven by our clients, in addition to marketing materials for sales and business development. This person should be passionate about developing insight-led marketing programs that may include large-scale events, partnerships, marketing collateral, and content. A successful candidate will have deep knowledge of marketing strategy across a variety of industries, specifically as it relates to advertising, media, and online platforms. Ideally, the candidate’s experience should include working with sales leadership to understand market and client needs, and a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams. Skillful communication, organization, and project management skills required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with sales leadership to execute client marketing efforts across print, digital, and events. Project manage sales-driven projects and programs, working with both client and internal teams.
  • Lead copywriter for business-related programs, content, and packages
  • Develop impactful sales collateral and programs (Testimonials, case studies, sales videos, whitepapers, reports, etc), in conjunction with Marketing Director
  • For business and Bests events, work with events team on branding/invite, social integration, sponsorship activation, and wrap ups/follow ups.
  • Develop advertiser-communication programs and touches, ranging from birthday programs to webinars and monthly newsletters that share case studies and marketing insights
  • Organize and maintain company-wide calendar of marketing initiatives and vertical priorities and needs

Client Service Coordinator

People Newspapers a D Magazine affiliate is looking for a smart, creative client service coordinator. This individual will work closely with the advertising sales team and publisher to provide excellent customer service and assist with prospecting new customers. Candidates must be self-starters, resourceful and able to thrive in high pressure, but fun environment.

CLIENT SERVICE COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create new business opportunities through research and prospecting
  • Assist advertising team by thoroughly qualify new opportunities to determine whether prospects are good potential clients
  • Manage relationships throughout the entire production cycle, from initial contact through ad materials and placement
  • Expand & maintain client relationships: assist advertising team members in developing creative campaigns / proposals to help clients achieve their business objective
  • Work with creative team to develop effective sales material and execute distribution of sales materials to existing and potential clients
  • Assist in day to day operational activities- including, but not limited to: client communication, maintenance within CRM system, lead tracking, competitive research
REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE, AND ATTRIBUTES OF IDEAL CANDIDATES:
  • Bachelor’s degree + 1-3 years administrative/support experience

The business group at D Magazine Partners is hiring a sales professional to join our team and represent Dallas Innovates and other group products. Dallas Innovates is a partnership between D Magazine Partners and the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce. Launched in February, this new initiative serves to promote the region as a hub for innovation, creativity and forward thinking businesses. We are currently interviewing for a highly-motivated and creative advertising sales professional to join our team. We’re looking for someone with the ability to hit the ground running, close business and who is motivated to make money. The sky is the limit.

SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and meeting with business executives
  • Thoroughly qualify new opportunities to determine whether prospects are good potential clients
  • Manage relationships throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through execution of the client campaign
  • Develop creative campaigns / proposals that help clients achieve their business objectives
  • Consistently win new business and achieve personal revenue goals

REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE, AND SALES ATTRIBUTES OF IDEAL CANDIDATES:
  • Bachelor’s degree + 1-3 years sales experience
  • Very strong prospecting skills. Committed to consistent daily selling behaviors
  • Well-networked in the Dallas marketplace. Should be involved with industry associations and have a strong personal network
  • Ability to get in front of C-Suite executives
  • Consultative selling experience a must
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Experience with and comfort entertaining clients in social setting
